The 2013 Annual Brunswick Community Picnic: June 22 in Square Corner Park- starts at 4:30!
This year's picnic will feature live, local music from Clearspring, Craggy Island, and Drew Hawes, and performances from the Brunswick High School improv group Derailed. Free food, fun contests, and lots of opportunites to get to know Brunswick and what it has to offer. Join us!
This is a great opportunity for local businesses and organizations to meet with the community and promote themselves in a fun environment. The 2013 Brunswick Business and Community Directory:
The Brunswick 2013 Business & Community Directory published by the Greater Brunswick Area Chamber of Commerce (GBACC) and the Brunswick Economic Development Commission (EDC), is available at local stores, Brunswick City Hall, Brunswick Library, and Lovettsville City Hall. This is a great guide to businesses and local organizations. New this year - Brunswick area maps "east" and "west", new listing format and a new searchable online version debuting soon!
The Brunswick Branding Project:
The City of Brunswick has tasked the Brunswick Economic Development Commission to take charge of Brunswick's "Brand". This community wide project invites everyone to take part in the development of an identity for the City of Brunswick. Hundreds of volunteer hours, citizens input and pages of data later; the Brunswick Economic Development Commission is pleased to share the working group's final reccomendation for the new Brunswick Brand, Designed by Jean Peterson Design of Frederick, MD. This logo was presented for vote by Mayor and Council on September 11, 2012 at 7:00PM and approved.
